My names Kaspion. There are very few if any left who truely know anything about me. Where I come from what I have been through. I'm sure there are some that have checked up on me in the tomes of the library, but there are things about me I did not put in there. If you are lucky I shall give you a deeper insight to exactly who and what I am all about. Here is a brief history of some things that have happened with me since I have arrived here in Gahlen. |
Well I guess a good place to start is at the beginning. I don't really remember much of my past except for an old cloak that was given to me by my parents, and later stolen from me. As I was told
by the people that raised me, my parents were very sick. They said that my parents left me because they didn't want me to see them grow weaker and
eventually die. They wanted me to remember them as strong and proud people. Over the years the people who raised me would use me to do everything
that they felt beneath them, which was just about everything, and when I didn't do it fast enough or good enough they would beat me and tell me to do it again. So after many years of very hard labor and beatings I
grew to strong for them to do that to anymore, and I told them I was leaving they said I couldn't but by that time I was too strong to try to stop me. So I finally left, but I wasn't welcomed anywhere because of my size, I was called a Brute or a Savage by everyone that I met. So I chose to become a loner thinking that if I never let anyone get close to me I could never get hurt like that ever again. For many years I wandered alone through the forests living off the land and growing even stronger still. Till one day I heard a couple of travelers talking about a city called Gahlen. So I decided maybe I would
check it out and see if anything had changed. Oddly enough and to my surprise things had changed. People here didn't look at me like I was an outcast or an outsider they accepted me. So after spending some time here I came to the descision maybe I might just stick around for awhile and see how things go. Who knows maybe I have finally found a place to call home. Maybe now I can end my aimless wandering.
--------------------------------------------------------------- Well since I wrote that there have been a lot of significant changes in my life. For one I am no longer alone. I got married, and I am happy to say that I have been married for the past 3 years. My wife's name is Jaedynne, and we have never been happier. I have in fact found a place to call home. I am a member of the Gahlen Garrison. I have even moved up in the ranks of the Garrison and I am now a Captain. I have since also joined the Justice office for a short time and worked my way up from Deputy to Marshall and now I hold the position of Judge. I have also found what some would consider to be like a family in my clan. I have joined the Courageous Hearts clan. Since my time of joining I have also been named Chieftan of the clan as well. There was also a time in my life when I was Devoted to Nature and a member of the Church as well but I am no longer a member of the Church but I still hold true to my vows to Ateraan, but that is a story for another time. |
